Our History
Since its founding in 1959 by Sadok Abdelmoula, the group has grown on the foundation of two industrial companies — oil refining and knitting.
Group Founded
In a post-independence context driven by the construction of a national economy, Sadok Abdelmoula established Établissements Abdelmoula, specialised in vegetable oil refining, and Matrifil, a company specialised in knitting and fabric production.
Creation of Maille Club
Following the decision to open up to imports, the knitting activity was abandoned in favour of producing knitwear garments for the local market and for export. The company Maille Club was founded by Moncef Abdelmoula.
